TRANSFER SITE PRICING

ALL TRASH MUST BE IN BAGS PRIOR TO ENTERING THE TRANSFER STATION.  NO LOOSE TRASH.  THERE IS A $2 FEE PER BAG.  IMPRINTED TOWN OF CLAYTON BAGS ARE NO LONGER SOLD.

  • PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS LIST IS ONLY A GUIDELINE FOR BOTH YOU AND THE EMPLOYEES AND DOES NOT COVER ALL ITEMS.  THE TOWN RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE TO TAKE ITEMS THAT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED BY THE RODMAN LANDFILL.  EXAMPLES INCLUDE BATTERIES, LEAD PAINT, PESTICIDES, ASBESTOS, OR ANY OTHER DANGEROUS OR ILLEGAL ITEMS.  ALSO, WE CANNOT ACCEPT ITEMS CONTAINING MERCURY.

BRUSH:

  • The Transfer Site will accept non-commercial brush from Town of Clayton residents (not contractors).  Brush must be 4″ or smaller in diameter and branches should be no longer than 6′.  We will accept chipped brush contractors.

INDIVIDUAL ITEMS:

  • Couches: $5/ft
  • Recliner/Over-sized Chairs: $12/piece
  • Other Items on a Per Piece Charge: $5/piece
  • Truck Loads – 6′ Bed $35 (Heaping): $40 or 8′ Bed $40 (Heaping): $45

*We will accept construction debris.

TIRES:

THE TOWN WILL ACCEPT TIRES WITHOUT RIMS THAT ARE FREE OF WOOD, DEBRIS, WATER, CAKED MUD, ETC.

  • UNDER 18″: $6/TIRE
  • 18″-23″: $10/TIRE
  • 24″-33″: $50/TIRE
  • OVER 33″: $200/TIRE

RECYCLING INFORMATION
Acceptable items at the Transfer Station:
PLASTICBottles, containers & tubs should be empty & rinsed, no styrofoam (even with a symbol), no automotive oil containers, no plastic bags
GLASSBottles & jars–no need to separate by colors, containers should be empty & rinsed. No windows, plate glass, mirrors, broken glass, dishes, drinking glasses, ceramic dishes, clay pots, light bulbs
METALTin food cans, aluminum food & beverage cans, aluminum pans and foil–containers should be empty and rinsed
MIXED PAPEROffice & copier paper, junk mail and envelopes, newspaper, magazines & catalogs, shredded paper, paper grocery bags, telephone books, paperback books, hardcover books if cover is removed. No hardcover books without cover removed, paper cups, plates, tissue & toilet paper, carbon paper
