Finance Office Duties:
The Finance Department is responsible for the proper collection and disbursement of all Town funds; for providing financial advice to the Town Supervisor and Town Board; and assisting and supporting in the following areas: cash and debt management, procurement of goods and services, operating and capital budgets, and accounting and reporting of financial information.

The Human Resources Department is generally responsible for all employee personnel activities. The duties and responsibilities of the Human Resources Department are as follows:

The Town Clerk of the Town of Clayton will be accepting applications for a Deputy Clerk position. The position is expected to begin immediately. Job Description includes, but is not limited to, the following: Basic activities and functions of Town government, office administrative and secretarial practices and procedures, records management, computer applications including the use of Microsoft Word and Excel, dealing effectively with the public/correspondence. The position is full-time, with benefits available. Office hours are Monday-Friday, with some weekend hours required.
