TOWN & VILLAGE OF CLAYTON
NOTICE OF PUBLIC BID
FOR FURNACE FUEL OIL & LP GAS
TAKE NOTICE that the Town and Village of Clayton Boards are accepting sealed bids for the purchase of Furnace Fuel Oil, and LP Gas. Each municipality will be billed directly and delivery will be to the following locations:
A) BILLED DIRECTLY TO THE TOWN OF CLAYTON: The Town owns both its Fuel Oil and LP tanks.
Furnace Fuel Oil — 1) TOWN HALL @ 405 Riverside Drive, Clayton 2) HIGHWAY BARN @ 615 East Line Road, Clayton; 3) DEPAUVILLE LIBRARY @ 32333 County Route 179, Depauville.
LP Gas — 1) HIGHWAY BARN @ 615 East Line Road, Clayton; RECREATION PARK @ 615 East Line
Road, Clayton; TRANSFER SITE @ 36243 County Route 4, Clayton.
B) BILLED DIRECTLY TO THE VILLAGE OF CLAYTON: The Village owns its Fuel Oil tank. Vendor is
responsible for LP tanks.
Furnace Fuel Oil — 1) VILLAGE MUNICIPAL BUILDING @ 425 Mary Street, Clayton; 2) LOW LIFT WATER PLANT @ Bartlett Point Road, Clayton.
LP Gas — 1) VILLAGE BOATHOUSE @ Mary Street Dock, Clayton; 2) HAWN MEMORIAL LIBRARY @ 220 John Street, Clayton.
*All vendor-supplied LP gas tanks are to be in well-painted condition and properly tested. If the bid is awarded to a vendor other than the present supplier, the owner/vendor of the LP gas tanks will pump out and issue credit for contents where necessary.
C) BILLED DIRECTLY TO THE TOWN OF CLAYTON FIRE DISTRICT, PO BOX 237, CLAYTON, NY:
LP Gas — 1) CLAYTON FIRE DEPARTMENT @ 855 Graves Street, Clayton; 2) DEPAUVILLE FIRE DEPARTMENT @ 15231 School Street, Depauville.
D) BILLED DIRECTLY TO THE THOUSAND ISLANDS EMERGENCY RESCUE SERVICE (TIERS):
LP Gas — 1) TIERS @ Graves Street, Clayton.
E) Any other sites as needed.
Duration of Agreement — For a period of one year commencing 10/1/2018 through 9/30/2019.
Fluctuating prices should be based on fixed differential over rack pricing. In addition, burner service rates should be listed in the bid. Detailed specifications may be obtained from the Town Clerk’s office (315-686-3512 ext. 24).
Our Bid forms are to be requested and returned to the Town Clerk, in a sealed envelope marked “SEALED BID – FUEL” with the name and address of bidder on the face. No bids will be considered without the completion of the Non-Collusive Statement, as required by General Municipal Law, 103-d, which includes the signature of the bidder or his/her representative.

Sealed bids will be received at the Town Clerk’s Office, 405 Riverside Drive, Clayton, NY 13624, until 2:00PM, Monday, September 10th and will be publicly opened at 2:05PM. Awarding will be at the Town Board meeting on Wednesday, September 12th at 5:00 PM in the Town Board Room.
The Town and Village Boards reserve the right to reject any or all bids.
