that, pursuant to Section 274b of Town Law & Article XI of the Town
of Clayton Zoning Ordinance, a public hearing will be held by the
Joint Town/Village of Clayton Planning Board on December 3, 2009
at 7:15 in the Town Offices at 405 Riverside Drive, for the
purpose of considering a Special Use Permit application by
Thousand Island Land Trust to site a Trail, Multi-use on It’s
property located on NYS Route 12E in the Marine-Residential
district, Tax Map # 20.13, Block # 1, Lot # 12.71
All
parties in interest and citizens will be given an opportunity to be
heard in respect to such application. Persons may appear in person
or by agent. Written comments must be received prior to hearing.

LEGAL NOTICE
The Town of
Clayton Fire District will hold an election for the Town of Clayton
registered voters on Tuesday, December 8, 2009. The polling places
will be the one assigned to each Town of Clayton voter: that is the
Clayton Fire Department, Graves Street, Clayton, NY and the
Depauville Public Library, Caroline Street, Depauville, NY. The
polls will be open from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM. The purpose of the
election is to select one (1) candidate as a member of the Town of
Clayton Fire District Board of Commissioners. The candidate
obtaining the most votes shall be elected to a five (5) year term.

Clayton will hold its Workshop meeting on
Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at
Dodge Hall on Grindstone Island, at 5:00 p.m.
A public meeting will have
discussion of a private marina for Grindstone.
A Public Hearing will be held
at 5:30 concerning a proposed major amendment to the Town of Clayton
Zoning Ordinance in regard to the interior portion of Grindstone
Island.

Board of the Town of Clayton will hold a public hearing on the

The public
hearing will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at 5:30 PM at
Dodge Hall, Grindstone Island.
A listing
